Techknowledgy Sierra Leone (TKSL) is planning its annual fundraising barbecue to raise money for the shipment of 300 computers to educational institutions in Sierra Leone.
The barbecue is slated for July 27 at St. Faiths Community Centre, Red Post Hill, London.
Techknowledgy works to advance education in developing countries through the provision of technical educational equipment and technical support, said Celia Y. Stober, TKSL local country director.
Techknowledgy began TKSL in November 2006, partnering with three educational institutions in Freetown and Bo. Apart from Sierra Leone, Techknowledgy also operates in Ghana and Tanzania.
